Dr. Raul Martinez is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Management. He completed his post-doctorate Fellowship in Pain Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center
and has been in private practice since 1999. A San Antonio native, Dr. Martinez, is also fluent in Spanish.

He is a member of multiple professional associations including the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, Texas Medical Association, and the International Association for the Study of Pain.

Dr. Martinez is also a Pain Ambassador for the National Pain Foundation and a frequent expert guest on local TV shows. An interventionalist, Dr. Martinez believes in conservative care that restores quality of life and functionality.

Dr. Martinez and his staff offer his patients superior clinical care, up-to-date techniques and the latest technology. 

When he is not at work, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycles, and staying active in multiple sports.
